Dr. Sarah Cary became an audiologist for one reason: to help people and serve her community. She founded Show-Me Hearing Consultants because she wanted to build something centered on helping people stay connected to the life they want to live — not a practice built around selling devices.

Dr. Cary earned her Doctorate of Audiology from the State University of New York at Buffalo and completed her clinical externship at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda — one of the nation’s most prestigious military medical institutions. She served as an active duty audiologist and continues to serve as a member of the U.S. Army Reserve.
In January 2026, she rebranded her practice to Show-Me Hearing Consultants — a name that reflects her deep commitment to this community and to showing patients exactly what evidence-based hearing care looks like. She is proud to be a Dr. Cliff Approved HearingUp Network Provider, a designation earned by meeting rigorous standards for evidence-based care.
Dr. Cary and her husband Brad have four children — Russell, William, Louis and Grace — and their standard poodle Chloe. She is a proud Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Royals fan and enjoys reading, dancing, and spending time with friends and family.
